I love Spoken Word events. Usually each poet has 3 minutes to share something original. You get a brief insight into to how someone else sees the world. Often its interesting, moving, funny or educational. And if not, then at least it’s only for 3 minutes.
Poetry Slams are a competitive version done for fun; a bit of a gimmick, generally judged by the audience and not taken seriously. But I’m very proud of my Word! 2022 Slam Champion Trophy.
